Friends of Rio Rancho Open Space, Inc.

The City of Rio Rancho and FORROS held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the North Beach to
celebrate the clearing of 28 acres of the bosque of invasive species such as Russian olive and salt cedar
It was a beautiful day, if a little windy, and the turn-out was great.
Following the ceremony lunch was provided by SubWay and Raley's Grocery Store.

FORROS President Bea Herrick and Rio Rancho Mayor Jim Owen cut the ribbon to celebrate the completion of clearing 28 acres of the bosque.
